In December 2023, the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program was recognized as an Innovator in LGBTQ+ inclusion. Snohomish County CASA is proud to be one of 172 child welfare organizations participating in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s All Children - All Families (ACAF) program, as highlighted in the 2023 Change-Makers Report.Together, these participating organizations work to improve the services provided to the LGBTQ+ community, including children in foster care, 1 in 3 of whom are LGBTQ+, and prospective foster and adoptive parents.
